Descritpion

Located at the nexus of the Atlantic and Indian oceans, the Dobson Seaside Resort is an example of architectural brilliance and engineering intelligence. Ten meters from the beach, strong winds and driving rain, the project required an innovative approach, beyond the adoption of sustainable and energy efficient solutions

Our best selection included Premium KN76 tilt and turn windows, standard sliders K54 for smaller openings, a group of stylish Premium HST K76 lift-and-slide doors and Gossip K76 side doors for control use, one of which had a pet door with easy access for the small dog of the house. The ocean conditions required greater corrosion resistance, and thus advanced materials were used like stainless steel and synthetic parts with lots of resistances and longevity. But the innovation was near the beach side: a 15-metre by 7-metre pvc façade with heavy lifting sliding doors, all with automated double glazing blinds built in and remotely controlled from the push of a button.

The project was a direct collaboration with the customer, who asked for our expertise in these complex designs and logistics of the house location. In this project we have not only designed and manufactured but also handled the complex installation at harsh weather conditions, underscoring our commitment to provide turnkey solutions for challenging constructions and elaborate architectural demands.
