Hotel in Peloponnese

A unique feature of this project is the use of interior shutters—another classic, high-performance material re-engineered for a 21st-century application. As a reference point for the history of windows is an elegant and practical solution for lighting and privacy. Our installation included the Premium KN76 window system in combination with Santorini interior shutters and Hotel K76's unique doors with a secure and energy efficient magnetic card system for entry.

The project faced a unique set of challenges, from incorporating materials compatible with traditional stone walls to navigating the constraints of renovating an older building, requiring designs to be flexible and can easily be implemented to meet the heavy use requirements in a hotel environment. In addition, a focus on energy efficiency was paramount, with the goal of reducing heating costs without compromising comfort or energy efficiency. This required several joint meetings between our engineers, the clients, and the architect to finalize every detail—from color and design to hardware specifications for energy savings and hotel specifications for residents safety.
